Exotic wood supplier Commercial Forest Products stocks both exotic hardwood lumber & domestic hardwood lumber in our Fontana, California warehouse. We carry a choice selection of high chatoyancy rare exotic hardwoods from around the world, including rarities like Paulownia wood and Koa wood.
Most of the exotic hardwoods at CFP are kiln dried and select/btr grade. However, certain types of exotic wood such as burls, cants, slabs, boules, flitches, cut-offs, stumps, etc. arrive air-dried and/or ungraded. Because we supply rare & unusual types of lumber, not all woods are manufactured to commercial hardwood lumber standards. Please ask if you have any question about any of our exotic wood products. Pau Ferro or Morado is a visually appealing alternative to Rosewood. An extremely dense wood, Pau Ferro does not fall under the same trade restrictions as Rosewood.
We have consistent access to African Black and White Limba graded to instrument specifications, Like Swamp Ash, there is no universal grading standard for Limba. Just asking for Limba from anyone is a spin of the roulette wheel. We cater to the instrument trade and know what your important specifications are.
